Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream Review

This is a review of Dr Hauschka cleansing cream. I love this cleanser, it cleans my skin, making it feel softer and look better. I have been using it about once a day for almost three months.

Presentation

Dr Hauschka cleansing cream comes in a long aluminium tube of 50 mL in size. The quantity should roughly last around a month. For those who don’t prefer aluminium tubes for some reason, then this will be a problem. Myself, I see aluminium tubes to be the best material for conserving cream products.

Dr Hauschka Cleansing CreamTexture

The texture for Dr Hauschka cleansing cream is the most original component of this product. I’m sure most will be surprised with it as it’s the regular smooth cream. It is a grainy paste, made with almond seeds, which at first glance resembles a scrub. But you know that exfoliation is not something that Dr Hauschka recommends. Thus, it is important that we learn to how use it. The recommended approach is to mix it with a little water in the palm of your hand and then apply to the face making gentle pressure palms. This will provide “suction effect”, but mostly without rubbing or dragging the product. Once you’ve caught the trick, it’s easy and pleasant to wash your face in this way.

Smell

The smell is also very characteristic, and quite powerful. Many people love it, others not so much. However, just like the way on how to apply the cream, you will get used to it. Honestly, I did not like it at the beginning but little by little I got accustomed to it to almost being addicted to it! It’s a smell of almonds mixed with herbs, very hard to describe to be frank. Sometimes I smell more peanut than almond. Quite not clear for me. You have to smell it to get an idea because it’s really very, very special.

Effectiveness

What I can tell you not already been said? The hardest thing in this series of reviews will be isolating each product, because as we have already told, are designed in a full ritual and work together in synergy.

But in short, the function of this cleaning is to clean thoroughly, but without altering the skin hydrolipidic film. And it fulfills the goal perfectly.

Those accustomed to cleaning soap, gel or liquid, you will notice a dramatic difference when you apply Dr Hauschka cleansing cream.

The ingredients used are organically grown (most plants are using home-grown). So you can imagine the level of control they have over their ingredients.
